The Embassy of Nepal in New Delhi has invited applications from Indian social media influencers, vloggers, podcasters and digital content creators for a familiarization trip to Nepal aimed at promoting tourism and cultural engagement.

According to the notice issued by the Embassy of Nepal, the programme plans to select five Indian social media influencers or vloggers for a visit to Nepal to experience the country’s natural beauty, cultural heritage, spiritual sites and tourism offerings.

The embassy said the initiative is expected to generate digital content and encourage Indian travellers to visit Nepal for leisure, pilgrimage, culture, adventure, wellness and family travel.

The familiarization trip aims to promote Nepal as an accessible and welcoming destination for Indian travellers while showcasing mountains, lakes, heritage sites, temples, festivals, cuisine and local culture.

Eligible applicants must be Indian nationals or India based digital creators with active presence on platforms including YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and X. Applicants are expected to create content related to travel, spirituality, wellness, food, heritage or tourism and should have a strong and engaged audience base.

Selected participants will be required to produce and publish content including travel vlogs, reels, shorts, podcasts and social media posts based on their Nepal experience.

The embassy stated that applications must include personal details, social media handles, audience statistics, previous tourism related work samples, a statement of interest and proposed content ideas for promoting Nepal among Indian audiences.

Applications can be submitted till May 30, 2026 through the email IDs mentioned in the official notification issued by the Embassy of Nepal in New Delhi.
