Star Health shares dropped more than 2% in morning trade after the company recently confirmed a data breach that leaked over 3 crore customer records. Amarjeet Khanuja, the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) of Star Health, is claimed to have sold the data to anonymous hackers.
In any case, the company claimed that they were the victims of a targeted cyberattack and that they have found no evidence of wrongdoing by the CISO so far.
Star Health stock opened at ₹571.00, reaching a day high of ₹571.95 and dipping to ₹563.95.
As of 9:28 am, Star Health shares were trading 2.48% lower at Rs 563.40 on the NSE.
