The popular rapper Sooraj Cherukat, professionally known as Hanumankind, recently had a performance at Modi & US event in New York. The event was attended by the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with thousands of Indians living in America. In one of the videos, PM Modi went up to the stage and made a short speech, wishing the performers something interesting to.
Hanumankind danced along with artists Aditya Gadhvi and Devi Sri Prasad on stage for the PM Narendra Modi. After the performance, Modi came to the front with the intention of introducing each performer. The Indian PM embraced rapper Hanumankind on the stage and said ‘Jai Hanuman’. The rapper looked quite delighted by the same. A video was posted on social media platform X.
Hanumankind rose to fame online with his track, Big Dawgs. Fed up of moving from one place to another, Cherukat’s family which was originally from Kerala, India finally settled in Texas, Houston.
During the event, PM Modi sat with the world’s leading CEOs in a roundtable meeting. “India is not going to stop now; India is not going to slow down now. India wants more and more devices in the world to run on Made in India chips. The day is not far when you will see Made in India chips here in America as well,” Modi said.
