In a LinkedIn post, Blinkit CEO Albinder Dhindsa announced that the company has hit an all-time high in daily orders. The platform also recorded its highest-ever orders per minute (OPM), gross merchandise value (GMV), and chocolate sales.

In a surprising move, Blinkit introduced a limited-time feature for the festival, allowing international orders. Dhindsa announced that people living abroad could now order Rakhis for their siblings in India, with delivery promised in just 10 minutes.
“Raksha Bandhan special – we’ve switched on international orders on Blinkit till 19th August. Folks living abroad can now place orders on Blinkit to send Rakhis and gifts to their siblings in India and we’ll deliver in 10 minutes!” Dhindsa wrote. This special service is available in selected countries: the USA, Canada, the Netherlands, Germany, France, and Japan.
