Xiaomi is stepping into the clamshell foldable phone market with its new Xiaomi Mix Flip, set to debut in Europe soon. According to a report from Mobile Bulgaria, the phone will be available in Eastern Europe after August 15th, hinting at an early August release.

  • Launch Window: Confirmed by Xiaomi’s country manager for Bulgaria, the Xiaomi Mix Flip will be launched in Eastern Europe after August 15, likely in the first half of August.
  • Price: The expected retail price in Europe is BGN 2,600 (roughly Rs 1,21,000), significantly higher than Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip 6, which starts at EUR 1,200 (approximately Rs 1,10,000).

However, its higher price compared to established competitors like the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 may pose a challenge in gaining market share.

The Mix Flip was initially launched in China earlier this month, starting at CNY 5,999 (roughly Rs. 69,300) for the base storage model, making its European pricing notably steeper.
