Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit recently found herself embroiled in a controversy as she was slammed for collaborating with Houston based Rehan Siddiqui, who is of Pakistan origin and is blacklisted by the Indian government for his alleged links to ISI. The controversy erupted over the weekend when political speaker Sunanda Vashisth highlighted the issues on social media.
Sunanda shared a poster of the upcoming event in August 2024 which featured the Bollywood actress with Rehan. The event is scheduled to take place in Houston in August this year, just days after India’s Independence Day. The columnist took to her X handle, formerly known as Twitter, to suggest Madhuri that she reconsiders her participation considering the alleged connections and blacklisted status.
