According to the most recent sources in TOI, the producers of Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 were eager to have Shalin aboard for the adventurous ride. In fact, they approached him last year during his appearance on Bigg Boss 16 and offered him a position on the show during its finale week.
Interestingly, Rohit Shetty himself went to the Bigg Boss 16 house to audition contestants for Khatron Ke Khiladi 13 and chose Shalin. However, Shalin turned down the offer at the time.
Shalin Bhanot has been confirmed as the final contestant for the forthcoming season, bringing the search for contestants to a close. While the other confirmed contestants plan to fly to Romania soon, Shalin will join them later because his paperwork requires more time.
