As Greg Daniels has been working with a group of writers, which could possibly be the expansion of The Office sitcom, Nathan For You co-creator Michael Koman has emerged as a leading creative voice. If Daniels’ new mockumentary exploratory project gets greenlighted to the show, Koman will be serving as co-creator, as per the reports by Deadline.
Currently, the potential The Office follow up from Universal Television remains in development.
As per the early reports by Deadline, there lies prospective of new series, which is not a reboot and would be set in a new office with new characters, but will still remain in the same world of the mockumentary led by Steve Carell, which follows the employees at the Scranton, Pennsylvania branch of the fictional Dunder Mifflin Paper Company. Daniels had hinted that a new Office iteration could follow a crew doing a documentary about a different subject.
