Mukand Limited

Mukand Limited is considered a pioneer in the steel industry as it was the first company in India to successfully implement vacuum oxygen technology for manufacturing stainless steel. Additionally, it became the fourth company globally to introduce a continuous cooling system for the production of wire rods.
Mukand Limited is a subsidiary company of Bajaj that specializes in manufacturing various steel products. Its product lineup includes stainless steel, iron products, steel castings, steel structures, alloy steel, stainless steel billets, and hot rolled bars, which are also exported.

In addition to steel products, Mukand Limited manufactures Electrical Overhead Travelling (EOT) cranes, port equipment, process plant equipment for ferrous and non-ferrous industries, and other types of cranes. Notably, the company has manufactured the largest crane in the country, which has an impressive lifting capacity of 80 tons.

BHSL’s main sugar manufacturing facilities are in Gola Gokarannath and Palia Kalan, part of the highly fertile and sugarcane-rich Terai region of Uttar Pradesh.The company is headed by Kushagra Bajaj as its Chairman. BHSL has a long-standing legacy, as it was one of the first companies established by Jamnalal Bajaj way back in 1931, originally under a different name. It was later renamed Bajaj Hindusthan Sugar Limited in 1988.
