Subros witnessed a robust surge of 13 percent on December 11, following the company’s successful bid for a contract valued at approximately INR 25 crore from the Indian Railways.

The contract pertains to the supply and commissioning of roof-mounted air-conditioning units for coaches, secured through a recently concluded tender. Notably, Subros is a key supplier of air-conditioning systems for rail driver cabins within the railway sector.

At 12:10, the company’s shares were trading significantly higher, marking an 11.72% increase at ₹503.15.

Subros, in its regulatory filing, highlighted that the acquisition of contracts for coach air-conditioners aligns with its strategic approach to broaden its presence in the railway electric mobility segment.
