Urfi found herself in a troublesome situation when two individuals came to her dressed as police officers. Both were lady officers and told Urfi to come with them to the police station. When she asked for the reason for arresting her, the officers told her that it was because of her clothes. One lady said, “Itne chote chote kapde kaun pehenke ghumta hai?” (who wears such short clothes and strolls around). The incident took place when Urfi was enjoying her morning coffee at Starbucks.

Viral Bhyani posted the video on its Instagram handle, which shows Urfi getting arrested by a group of police officials for her clothing. Netizens couldn’t hold onto this shocking information and flooded the comment section with justifications.
One stated, “chote kapde phenne walo ko jail milti hai or izzat lootne walo ko bail…” While another said, “Ab police wale bhi reel banana lage hai.” A netizen wrote, “WTF now we don’t have the right to wear what we want in this country? What is happening, they should rather focus on the crime rates and rapes happening in this city.”
The verification of the incident is still under covers. Urfi Javed hasn’t released any statements regarding the matter at hand. She has yet to give any response to the recent mishap that has occurred. This is not the first time though that she has landed herself into a legal matter. As reported by ETimes, a complaint was lodged against her at the Bandra Police station for her clothing choices some time back.
