Ever since Sushant Singh Rajput’s father, KK Singh, has filed an FIR against the late actor’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and five others, the Sushant Singh Rajput death case has been taking new twists and turns each day. The death which was earlier believed to suicide is now being investigated through a murder angle. The news of Sushant’s demise came days after his ex-manager Disha Salian’s death, who died by suicide by jumping off a high-rise building in Malad, Mumbai. As there was only a week’s gap between their deaths, some people tried to find the connection between the two.
However, Sushant’s lawyer, Priyanka Khimani, dismissed the theory and called the connection between Sushant Singh Rajput and Disha Salian’s death bizarre and illogical.
“I never met Disha. It is absolutely bizarre and illogical. I did not have any interaction or email exchange. I remember reaching to Sushant that your name is being dragged into it when this news broke out. This is how much we knew her. I had no interaction with her,” she told India Today.
On being asked about the theories that suggest that the actor was killed, Priyanka added, “As devastating as it is, as shocked as we all are, deep down I don’t believe the conspiracy theories. My gut tells me that it was his decision. I hope he hadn’t done it. But in my view, I don’t believe any theories. However, I don’t question the investigating authorities”.
It has been two months since the Mumbai police have been investigating this case and now people feel it is time to hand over the case to CBI.
