The first chapter of the series, titled ‘Kahani Jammu Station Ki,’ focuses on the awe-inspiring tale of Lieutenant Triveni Singh, a young officer from the Indian Army’s 5 Jammu and Kashmir Light Infantry. On January 2, 2004, Lieutenant Triveni Singh displayed immense bravery as he fearlessly confronted terrorists during an attack on Jammu Railway Station. Despite facing grave danger, he courageously neutralized two heavily armed militants, rescuing over 300 civilians before making the ultimate sacrifice and succumbing to his injuries.

For his extraordinary act of heroism, Lieutenant Triveni Singh was posthumously awarded the Ashok Chakra, India’s highest peacetime award.
