On the occasion of Thalapathy Vijay’s 49th birthday, the first single from his new album, Leo, has been released. It’s called Naa Ready, and it’s a strong, electrifying song about the popular actor’s star power.
While the video largely focuses on the song’s lyrics, it also shows Vijay grooving with his friends in a vast arena. He performs some great manoeuvres while holding a cigarette in his mouth.
Earlier on Thursday, Vijay surprised his fans with the first look at his forthcoming Tamil film. After the 2021 smash Master, Vijay and filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj will work together again on this project.
Vijay is seen striking a hammer in the poster, which the actor shared on his social media accounts at midnight. Snowcapped mountains and a hyena can be seen in the backdrop. On the poster, the slogan read, “In the world of untamed rivers, calm waters either become divine gods or dreaded demons.”
Kanagraj also shared the first look on Twitter and extended his best wishes to the actor. “#LeoFirstLook is here! Happy Birthday @actorvijay anna! Elated to join hands with you again na! Have a blast,” the filmmaker tweeted.
Trisha Krishnan, who previously acted with Vijay in Tamil blockbusters Ghilli, Kuruvi, Thirupaachi, and Aathi, plays opposite the actor in the film.Sanjay Dutt, a Bollywood celebrity, also makes his Tamil debut with Leo.
