The website Fast Company was forced to go down after the company reported that its Apple News account had been hacked on Tuesday evening.

According to a tweet from the news aggregator app, Apple News from Apple Inc. had also suspended its channel with Fast Company.

According to Fast Company, hackers sent two “obscene and racist push messages” a minute apart. The company also announced the Apple News stream had been halted while the issue was being investigated.

“We are investigating the situation and have suspended the feed & shutdown FastCompany.com until we are certain the situation has been resolved,” the publication said its tweet.

The website for Fast Company was offline and showing a 404 error.

Mansueto Ventures LLC, a publishing company, owns Fast Company.
