Again a disappointing news for the movie buffs ! Brahmastra’s mega pre-release event in Hyderabad featuring Jr NTR got cancelled just a few hours before it was to get started. The film is to hit the screens in the coming week, on 9th September, meanwhile a promotional campaign was arranged by the team.
It is confined that the event was cancelled due to “unforeseen circumstances”. Also a major reason behind the cancellation is reportedly, the immense crowd that emerged with the fans of the stars who came in large numbers at Ramoji Film City. So, to avoid commotion, the makers took the decision.
Another source tells, that the event lacked police co-operation. Hyderabad Police has deployed personnel in the city on the occasion of Ganpati Visarjan and could not provide sufficient personnel for the mega event. Besides, a political rally to be held in the city tomorrow may also be a reason for the lack of help from police personnel.
The event was to be held in Ramoji Film City with the film’s stars Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, director Ayan Mukerji and RRR star Jr NTR. Fans were broken by the news, after much dnthuu.
Fan clubs Jr NTR tweeted, entreating the fans gathered at Ramoji Film City to return back home. “Go back safely @tarak9999 fans! We need official apologies from the production house and the organizers of the event,” reads the tweet.
