Krishnakumar Kunnath, popularly referred to as KK, often found himself in a spot of bother when people questioned him if he was indeed the voice behind the Tadap Tadap, Dus Bahane, and Tune Maari Entriyaan. The singer gave ultimate and phenomenal hits throughout his career but was less visible among the public and media. The singer has had been a part of the musical concerts but was less recognized off the stage. The actor was confronted multiple times by fans upon if he was really the magical voice behind multiple hits that were popular in the 90s era.

“I have always been media-shy, and you won’t see my photos much in the media. I think that’s why people don’t know who I really am. It happens so many times with me that after a concert fans come up to me and ask are you really KK and have you really sung songs like Tadap Tadap or Alvida? I know they are not misinformed, or anything like that, but it’s just that they haven’t seen me much. So, they don’t know what I really look like,” said KK in 2018 in an interview with Hindustan Times.

“To be really honest, what matters to me the most is that they know my songs. After that, I don’t care if they know who I am or what I look like. These things don’t matter to me. They should like my songs, and that’s the only thing that concerns me,” he further added.
