Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon recently gained 40 million followers on Instagram. She took this opportunity and shared an IGTV video, thanking all her fans. The actress also expressed her concern towards the children who lost their parents due to this pandemic. She has joined hands with an NGO and urged everyone to donate to the cause. The actress wants to make her 40 million mark worthy and use it for the greater good.
She wrote, “We are #40MillionStrong! 💖 In this pandemic, many kids have lost one or both of their parents. Many families have lost their only earning members. Many kids face horrors like sexual abuse and child labor. No child should have to go through a time in their life without basic human rights.”
Further, she added, “Let’s make our 40 Million hearts beat together and do some good! Let’s use the strength of this platform to put smiles on some faces. I have joined hands with @ngoprotsahan PROTSAHAN to help them generate money that can be used in providing High protein Ration kits to children, pregnant and lactating mothers, in providing children with educational kits, trauma counseling, and all that is needed to help secure their childhood!”
She urged everyone to donate at least 1 Re., which will help them reach up to 40 million rupees. Celebrities like Dia Mirza, Manish Malhotra, and many others applauded her initiative.
