Nobody really enjoys grinding through a Battle Pass, and Call of Duty has long had one of the slowest and most frustrating reward tracks. Players have complained for years about low XP and slow progression. It used to take dozens of hours just to get close to the final rewards.

Treyarch has listened and is making some positive changes for Black Ops 7 Season 1. The Battle Pass will now be more rewarding and less time-consuming. Early pages of the Battle Pass can be completed faster, and you will unlock important content sooner. Later pages still have more tiers, but every page now gives meaningful rewards so the grind feels worth it.

Battle Pass Tokens can now be earned through Daily Challenges in Multiplayer, Zombies, Warzone, the Co-Op Campaign, and Endgame. This means almost everything you do in the game will contribute to your Battle Pass progress. Tokens can be collected on certain days and used right away.

The Season 1 Battle Pass is packed with rewards. It offers 1,100 COD Points, 11 Operator Skins, 26 Blueprints and Weapons, and a total of 119 rewards. The cosmetic items won’t carry over to the next Call of Duty game, but they can still be used in Warzone.

These changes are part of what Treyarch is calling the biggest Black Ops Season yet. Players will now get more high-value content faster and feel more rewarded for the time they spend in the game.
