Fischgiving is the best time to play Fisch because it brings new quests, rewards, and special rods. This year, players can get the Cornucopia rod, a rod that’s fun to use and has cool abilities. To get it, you need to complete the Pilgrim quest, which has six tasks.
To start, talk to the Pilgrim at Moosewood. You can find him using the Fisch GPS at coordinates 402, 134, 257. After each task, return to the Pilgrim to get the next one. Once all six tasks are complete, the Cornucopia rod will appear in your inventory.
The Pilgrim quest also gives other rewards along the way. If you bring one Pilgrim Hat, you get the Apple Cider lantern. Giving any Turkey earns you the Acorn Bobber. Trade three Turkeys for the Gravy Boat. Bringing a Shiny Turkey rewards the Apple Pie Slice Bobber. Completing all Fischgiving quests gives the Lit Haystack lantern. Finally, bringing a Gravy Turkey gives you the Cornucopia rod.
Some items, like the Pilgrim Hat and Gravy Turkey, can be tricky to find. The Pilgrim Hat can be caught on Maple Meadow island or anywhere on the map during the event. It’s a limited-rarity item, so using an aurora totem and a luck rod helps.
The Gravy Turkey is the last item you need. You can get it by trading with friends who have the Cornucopia rod or by using Fischgiving baits from the Bountiful Bait Crate. These crates come from fishing during the event or completing the turkey quests. The baits that help get Gravy mutation are Pumpkin Pieces, Gourd Bites, and Cranberry Cluster.
The Cornucopia rod itself has good stats. Its Lure Speed and Resilience are strong, while Control is low compared to mid-game rods. Luck is solid, which helps you find rare fish. The rod also has a passive ability that can give caught fish the Gravy mutation, giving an 8x selling multiplier. It can also trigger a pumpkin storm to boost progress speed.
Here are the stats for the Cornucopia rod: Lure Speed 90%, Luck 112.7%, Control 0.05, Resilience 75%, and Max Kg 250,000.
To make it even better, you can use enchantments. Some good options are Herculean for Max Kg and Progress Speed, Controlled for more Control, and Mystical for Luck, Resilience, Lure Speed, and Progress Speed.
