Ahead of Stranger Things Season 5, reports have emerged that Millie Bobby Brown accused her on-screen father, David Harbour, of harassment and bullying during filming. The claims were reportedly non-sexual, prompting an internal investigation into the 50-year-old actor that lasted for several months and included multiple rounds of review.

According to sources, Millie, 21, filed the complaint at the end of 2023 or early 2024, before production on the final season began. The Daily Mail reported that the claim contained “pages and pages of accusations,” and the investigation continued over an extended period. It is unclear what the outcome was or whether it affected the filming of Season 5.

Harbour’s wife, Lily Allen, is said to have “steadfastly supported her husband throughout the brutal ordeal.” Representatives for Millie Bobby Brown have not commented, and Netflix has declined to confirm or discuss any inquiry.

On the show, Harbour plays Chief Jim Hopper, while Millie portrays Jane Hopper, also known as Eleven. Harbour has previously spoken about feeling protective of his on-screen daughter. So far, there has been no public reaction from other cast members regarding the allegations.
