Nick and Aaron Carter, two of the biggest names in pop music from the late 1990s and early 2000s, are the focus of the latest Investigation Discovery docuseries premiering tonight. Titled *Fallen Idols: Nick and Aaron Carter*, this four-part series delves into the lives of the Florida-bred brothers—Nick, a member of the Backstreet Boys, and Aaron, a singer-rapper known for hits like “I Want Candy” and “Aaron’s Party (Come Get It).”

The series explores their rise to stardom as teenagers amidst familial instability, substance abuse, and serious allegations. It also covers the tragic circumstances of Aaron’s accidental drug-related death at age 34 in November 2022. Following the success of ID’s recent docuseries *Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV*, *Fallen Idols* promises to provide an in-depth look into the Carter brothers’ tumultuous lives.

The docuseries will address Aaron Carter’s struggles with mental health and substance abuse, as well as the accusations of rape and sexual assault against Nick Carter. Interviews with accusers Ashley Repp, Shay Ruth, and former Dream singer Melissa Schuman are included. In the series trailer, Nick’s ex-girlfriend Kaya Jones describes him as looking “like a perfect pretty Ken doll” but alleges he can be “evil.”

Aaron’s support for the accusers reportedly strained his relationship with Nick in the years leading up to his death. Nick has denied all allegations against him.

To watch the series, you will need access to the Investigation Discovery channel, which is available with most cable TV subscriptions.
