Enzo Fernández has refused to shut down speculation surrounding his future, insisting his immediate focus remains on finishing the season strongly with Chelsea FC.

Speaking to ESPN, the Argentine midfielder made it clear that discussions about his long-term plans will be addressed only after the campaign concludes. “My future? There are eight games to play, the FA Cup and the focus is on that, then we will see,” he said.

Fernández’s comments come at a crucial stage of the season, with Chelsea still competing on multiple fronts. The London club are aiming to end their campaign on a high note, with important fixtures remaining in the league as well as the prestigious FA Cup.

Despite the uncertainty hinted at in his remarks, Fernández remains under a long-term contract at Stamford Bridge. The 23-year-old signed an eight-and-a-half-year deal after joining Chelsea in January 2023, tying him to the club until June 2032.

As Chelsea approach the business end of the season, all eyes will remain on Fernández, both for his performances on the pitch and any developments regarding his long-term plans.
