63.94% voting has been recorded till 5 pm in Telangana Assembly elections. Earlier, till 3 pm, 51.89 percent voting had taken place. Voting percentage was slow in the morning.
Amit Shah further praised the central government led by PM Modi and compared the allocation of funds by the UPA and NDA government for then united Andhra Pradesh and now Telangana.
The assembly elections in Telangana are scheduled to take place on November 30, followed by the counting of votes and declaration of results on December 3.
"Telangana has Turmeric, Talent, Tradition, and Technology, yet despite all of these, Telangana is not getting its due respect because of the misgovernance and corruption by BRS," said PM.
"All the people, including those belonging to the Valmiki-Boya and the Kuruba castes, will be ensured social justice under the BJP government," said Amit Shah.
"This time, form the BJP government under the leadership of Modi ji. We will work to fulfill the dreams of the youth who have sacrificed for the creation of Telangana," said Amit Shah appealing for vote.

Over Congress party's claim of bringing back Old Pension Scheme in its ruling states, Amit Shah counted the central government's achievement using One Rank, One Pension scheme.
PM Modi also attacked the Congress party of giving Padma awards to those who were closed to them before 2014.
