Geert Wilders, the far-right and the firebrand politician who won the Dutch Elections, is set to become the new Prime Minister of the Netherlands. The results on Wednesday showed that Wilder’s PVV (Freedom Party) won 35 seats in parliament, leaving left-wing bloc with 25 seats and Centre-right party VDD on 24. The elections shook the Dutch and Europe with its catastrophic results.

Wilders was earlier in the news, too, when he claimed to ban all mosques from the Netherlands. He even claimed to ban Quran in the country.

Wilders also supported former BJP leader Nupur Sharma, who was alleged for hurting religious’ sentiments of Islamic people in a TV debate over making remarks on Prophet Muhammad.

After Wilders’ victory in Dutch elections, his earlier tweet in support of then BJP spokesperson is trending on the internet. “One lioness, a hundred jackals! #NupurSharma,” said Wilders in a tweet.

Now, he is all set to become the next Prime Minister of the Netherlands.
