Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd. has clinched the contract as the lowest bidder for a significant power transmission project in Madhya Pradesh, valued at Rs 251 crore. The order, awarded by MP Madhya Kshetra Vidyut Vitran Co., encompasses the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of 11 kV line-associated works, as disclosed in an exchange filing on Monday.
The construction firm outlined that the execution timeline for the project, involving activities such as line bifurcation, interconnection, and conductor augmentation, spans two years. The shares of Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd. exhibited a 3.22% rise, reaching ₹227.75 as of 10:51 am.
