After successfully entering the IPL playoffs, RCB players were excited by a surprise visit in their dressing room post-CSK match.
On May 18, when RCB crushed CSK and advanced to the playoffs, Chris Gayle was one unique fan sitting in the stands, supporting RCB from the first ball of the game.
Chris Gayle entered the dressing room post-win, a place once echoed by the Universe Boss’ voice.
RCB shared a video in which Virat Kohli jokingly asks Chris Gayle to come back next year because he can be an impact player.
“Kaka (to Chris Gayle), you can come next year and play as an impact player. Now you don’t even have to field; this rule is perfectly designed for you,” says Virat Kohli in the video.
Jamaican cricketer Chris Gayle’s journey with Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) began in 2011, transforming the team with his explosive batting. Over seven seasons, he scored 3,163 runs, including five centuries. His record-breaking performances and charismatic presence made him a T20 legend and a fan favorite in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Talking about RCB, the team will now face Rajasthan Royals in the eliminator game on May 22 in Ahmedabad.
