Samuel Frederick Smith, popularly known by his stage name Sam Smith is all set to team up with the 30-year-old Latin star Anitta for an upcoming collaboration.
In a recent interview with Harper’s BAZAAR, Sam stated, Anitta’s energy is amazing. He continued, “We connected immediately, and it just made the collaboration feel so special that there was genuine friendship there.”
According to the outlet, the upcoming track will give off the ‘Lusty’ vibes.
The Singer and actress Anitta, born as Larissa de Macedo Machado, recently made her way out of her previous label Warner Music after 11 years. Anitta claimed that she decided to leave because the label did not promote her song ‘Envolver’ properly.
In the officially released statement it was claimed, “After eleven years of successful partnership, we’ve agreed to go our separate ways. Anitta would like to thank the Warner Music team for all their support. And the Warner team wishes Anitta all the best in future.”
When asked about the controversly between Anitta and her label, she stated, “I asked the label to just do the simple job they were supposed to: promote my music.”
She almost claimed that she would have sold her organs just to get out of the contract with her label.
Now Anitta has signed her contract with another label called, ‘Republic Records’.
