Oswal Pumps Limited has announced a significant order from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) under the PM Kusum B Scheme ‘Magel Tyala Saur Krishi Pump’ Yojna. The order involves the supply and installation of 6,896 Off-Grid Solar Photovoltaic Water Pumping Systems, valued at ₹162.06 crore, inclusive of GST.
The project will see the design, manufacture, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of solar water pumping systems with capacities of 3 HP, 5 HP, and 7.5 HP. These systems are set to be installed at designated farmers’ sites across Maharashtra, aiming to support sustainable irrigation and encourage renewable energy use in agriculture.
