Insolation Energy Limited has taken a significant step in strengthening its long-term growth visibility after its wholly owned subsidiary, Insolation Green Energy Private Limited, entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with Bondada Engineering Limited for the supply of solar modules under ALMM-I and the upcoming ALMM-II framework.
The MOU covers a defined supply arrangement for calendar years from January 2027 to December 2028 and positions Insolation Green Energy Private Limited as the priority supplier of solar modules for Bondada Engineering’s upcoming solar power projects. The agreement has been executed in anticipation of ALMM-II, which is expected to further strengthen domestic manufacturing under the Government of India’s Make in India initiative for solar cells and modules.
This strategic understanding ensures a secure and predictable supply of ALMM-compliant solar modules for Bondada Engineering while providing Insolation Energy with long-term demand visibility from large-scale solar project execution. The arrangement does not involve any equity participation between the parties, nor does it fall under related-party transactions, maintaining full arm’s-length independence.
From a business perspective, the MOU highlights Insolation Energy’s growing relevance in India’s domestic solar manufacturing ecosystem. With ALMM-II expected to tighten sourcing norms and increase reliance on Indian manufacturers, priority supplier agreements such as this can translate into stable order flows, better capacity utilisation, and improved planning for manufacturers that are already ALMM-ready.
