Advait Energy Transitions has announced a significant business development with the receipt of a major order from Powergrid Corporation of India Ltd. (PGCIL). The order, confirmed on 28 November 2025, involves the procurement of Package ERS-1, an advanced Emergency Restoration System suitable for transmission infrastructure up to 765kV AC and ±800kV.
This order marks another milestone in the company’s ongoing participation in India’s power transmission and grid-support ecosystem. Since the contract has been awarded by a domestic entity, the project falls completely under local operations and aligns with the company’s core expertise in large-scale power restoration systems.
The scope of work includes supplying the Emergency Restoration System (ERS) under Set 1, a critical asset designed to ensure immediate and temporary restoration of transmission lines in the event of failures, natural disasters, or grid emergencies. The contract carries an execution timeline of 18 months, reaffirming the company’s capacity to deliver high-value engineering solutions within strict schedules.
The total value of the order stands at ₹21,30,34,489.78, inclusive of all taxes. The company also clarified that the promoter group has no interest in PGCIL, and the transaction does not fall under related-party arrangements.
