ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company has announced significant changes in its board of directors. Guillermo Eduardo Maldonado-Codina has resigned from his position as director, effective from the close of business hours on 30 March 2026. Following his departure, Rajeev Mittal will be appointed as a non-executive (additional) director starting 31 March 2026, pending shareholder approval.
Rajeev Mittal brings extensive experience to the board, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer and a board member at Eastspring Investments Group. He is also a member of the Prudential Group Executive Committee. Mittal’s career spans over 30 years in asset management, with a notable history of leading investment teams globally.
Before joining Eastspring in July 2025, Mittal was the Managing Director and Head of Asia at Fidelity International, where he was instrumental in driving growth across Asia Pacific and Middle East markets. His prior roles include serving as CEO of PineBridge Europe and PineBridge Asia Pacific.
Mittal holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Bradford in the UK. His appointment is expected to bring a wealth of experience and strategic insight to ICICI Prudential Asset Management‘s board.
