V.S.T Tillers Tractors reported a steady improvement in sales volumes for January 2026, driven largely by stronger demand for power tillers, according to an exchange filing dated February 1.

The company sold 5,257 units of power tillers and tractors combined in January 2026, compared with 3,416 units in the same month last year. Power tiller sales stood at 4,810 units during the month, marking a sharp rise from 3,105 units in January 2025, while tractor sales increased to 447 units from 311 units a year ago.

On a year-to-date basis, total sales for the April–January period of FY26 rose to 46,868 units, compared with 31,432 units in the corresponding period last year. Power tillers continued to form the bulk of volumes, with year-to-date sales of 42,184 units, while tractor sales stood at 4,684 units during the same period.

The company clarified that the figures are provisional and unaudited, and the final audited numbers may vary. The update highlights improving traction in the farm equipment segment amid gradual recovery in rural demand and seasonal buying trends.
