SJVN Limited reported a consolidated net loss for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2026, even as the company posted a sharp rise in revenue and operating performance on a year-on-year basis.
The company reported a consolidated net loss of ₹117.84 crore in Q4 FY26, compared to a net loss of ₹127.72 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
Revenue from operations surged to ₹1,496.47 crore during the quarter, compared to ₹504.40 crore reported in Q4 FY25.
EBITDA for the quarter stood at ₹909.67 crore, compared to ₹240.88 crore in the year-ago period. EBITDA margin improved significantly to 60.8% in Q4 FY26 from 47.8% in Q4 FY25.
Total income for the quarter came in at ₹1,548.46 crore, compared to ₹548.84 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
Finance costs during the quarter increased to ₹522.14 crore from ₹159.41 crore a year ago, while depreciation, amortisation and impairment expenses stood at ₹494.39 crore versus ₹275.03 crore in Q4 FY25.
Total expenses rose sharply to ₹1,603.33 crore during the quarter, compared to ₹697.96 crore in the year-ago period.
The company reported a loss before tax of ₹53.06 crore in Q4 FY26, compared to a loss before tax of ₹146.48 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
Total comprehensive loss attributable to owners of the parent stood at ₹117.08 crore during the quarter, compared to a loss of ₹135.22 crore in Q4 FY25.
