Devyani International Limited (DIL), a prominent player in the global Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) sector, has reported a significant increase in its financial performance for the quarter ending March 31, 2026. The company achieved a notable 18.5% year-on-year (YoY) growth in its Q4 revenues, reaching ₹14,369 million.
The revenue surge was driven by strong performances across various segments. KFC India, a key brand under DIL, reported revenues of ₹5,855 million, marking a 14.6% increase YoY. The company’s own brands also showed robust growth, with revenues rising by 11.5% YoY on a like-for-like basis to ₹911 million. However, Pizza Hut India experienced a slight decline, with revenues dropping by 3.5% YoY to ₹1,692 million. The international business segment contributed significantly with a 20.0% YoY increase, bringing in ₹5,033 million.
For the fiscal year 2026, DIL’s revenues reached ₹56,115 million. The company’s Q4 EBITDA stood at ₹2,295 million, maintaining an EBITDA margin of 16.0%.
Ravi Jaipuria, Non-Executive Chairman of Devyani International, highlighted the company’s strategic initiatives and resilience in navigating a challenging operating environment. He noted the proposed merger with Sapphire Foods as a strategic move aimed at unlocking synergies and enhancing growth potential. The merger is expected to create a more agile and efficient organisation, capable of accelerating growth across markets.
Jaipuria also emphasised the company’s focus on strengthening its management team and leveraging technology, automation, and data-driven decision-making to enhance efficiency and customer experience. The company remains committed to disciplined expansion, profitability, and consumer relevance through innovation and digital engagement.
KFC delivered its strongest performance in 14 quarters, with a 4.9% positive same-store sales growth (SSSG) and nearly 15% YoY growth during the quarter. This performance is attributed to stable demand and effective customer engagement strategies.
Devyani International operates over 2,500 stores across more than 350 cities in India, Thailand, Nigeria, and Nepal. The company is the largest franchisee of Yum! Brands in India and Nepal and holds exclusive franchise rights for several international brands.
