HBL Engineering Limited has secured a major contract from Central Railway for the provision of Kavach, an advanced train protection system. The company has been awarded five letters of acceptance, covering 413 stations and a total track length of 3,900 kilometers. The total value of these contracts, inclusive of 18% GST, stands at ₹762.56 crore.

As per the agreement, HBL Engineering is expected to complete each contract within 18 months. This marks another significant milestone for the company, further strengthening its position in the railway safety and signaling sector. With this latest achievement, the total value of Kavach contracts secured by HBL Engineering in the current financial year has reached an impressive ₹3,618 crore.

The awarded contracts reaffirm HBL Engineering’s expertise in delivering cutting-edge railway safety solutions. Notably, the company, formerly known as HBL Power Systems Limited, continues to expand its footprint in critical railway infrastructure projects.

Importantly, the transaction does not fall under related party transactions, and no promoters have any vested interest in the awarded contracts. This transparency underscores HBL Engineering’s commitment to ethical business practices and corporate governance.
