Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani treated their fans with the greatest news of all time as they announced pregnancy last week. The couple, who got married in February 2023, in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, is all set to embrace parenthood. While it was assumed that they first met on the sets of their movie, Shershaah, Sid recently revealed that his first meeting with Kiara happened years before Shershaah.
During his recent interview with Lilly Singh, the actor admitted he is “forever” grateful to Lust Stories, as he met his actor wife on the sets of Karan Johar directed film.
He also praised her for her bold choices of films. He said, “That’s (the film) the reason I met her. I’m very grateful for that short film to be made because I met her when they shot… I was on set. I did go to meet Karan at that set, and we (Kiara and I) met, and we met right after that.”
For those unaware, Kiara shot to fame with her iconic ‘orgasm’ scene in Lust Stories. Sidharth shared, “I didn’t want to be there for that, but I knew what she was up to because I’d heard the story from Karan before. But again, it was the intent; the hearts were in the right place. The presentation of it is funny because it sometimes is, and it’s a director’s take, but I think the heart was in the right place. Kudos to her for taking that on… I think she was very bold in her choices.”
Now, the actor feels blessed to have Kiara in his life and is very excited as they will be soon adding a new member into their family.
