Taapsee Pannu got married to her longtime boyfriend, Mathias Boe, in an intimate wedding ceremony in March 2024. The couple mostly prefers to keep a strict distinct between their personal and professional lives. The actress refrains from sharing much about her athlete husband on her Instagram, however, she recently made a rare post dedicated to the badminton player.
Taapsee took to her Instagram Stories to share a “love letter to Athletes” which talked about what a player goes through and it is not much talked about.
“They tell you about chasing your dream, following your passion, and turning you love for the game into more. They tell you about the lifestyle, the money, the perks… the travel, the thrill,… the spotlight, the fame… But they don’t tell you how hard it is to keep the game a game. They don’t tell you how lonely journey will be. They don’t tell you how ruthless you will be to yourself when things don’t go well. How the line between your work and life disappears – because life becomes work,” read the post.
It further talked about the sacrifices, the athlete has to make, such as missing out on parties and birthdays. “It won’t be easy, but it will be worth it. It won’t be smooth sailing but these waters will shape you,” added the post, and concluded with, “Stay strong. Stay patient. Stay open. Stay kind to yourself.”
