Director duo Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru, known for directing Sanam Teri Kasam, shared if the film had been made in 1990s, Salman Khan would have featured in the lead role. In a conversation with India Today, Vinay labelled Salman as “the ultimate hero of the era.”
Upon being asked, who would have starred in the film – Sanam Teri Kasam – if it had released in 1990s, Vinay was quick to state, “100% it would have been Salman! The innocence in his eyes, the way he looks at and holds the girl, the purity of thought and emotion—he was the perfect romantic hero of that era, and he would be our perfect Inder… His presence alone elevates his leading ladies. He was the ultimate romantic hero of the 90s!”
Further ahead while praising Salman, the filmmaker said that the actor is an institution himself. He continued that they are waiting for the right script and right time, and would love to collaborate with the star, how has been a superstar for over 30 years.
Salman and Vinay has worked together in Lucky: No Time For Love, released in 2005. The film also starrer Sneha Ullal and was helmed by Vinay and Radhika.
