Actor couple Suriya and Jyotika have settled in Mumbai along with their two kids. The actress is now gearing up for the release of her Netflix series Dabba Cartel, and in a recent interview, she talked about her life with Suriya and how they manage to parent their kids, leaving their superstardom outside their door.
During an interview with Screen, Jyotika stated, “I guess we leave the superstardom outside the door when we enter home. There, we are just parents of our kids… It’s more about what’s going in their school dabbas (tiffin boxes) in the morning… So the discussions are more about what they are eating and how we are packing their food and sending it. So absolutely we are parents at home, superstardom stays outside.”
Jyotika also touched the subject of her career trajectory. She expressed her gratitude over having done some of the best roles in South film. She revealed that she had stopped working at the age of 28, after she got married, and later resumed at 35. The actress has led in several Tamil films, and with Dabba Cartel, she is making her comeback to Hindi cinema, where she has received a warm welcome.
