Guru Randhawan has been rushed to a hospital after he was hurt while performing a stunt for his upcoming movie, Shaunki Sardar. The Punjabi singer shared an update on Instagram with a picture of himself in a hospital bed, wearing a cervical collar. The post was captioned, “My first stunt, my first injury, but my spirit remains unbroken. A memory from the sets of Shaunki Sardar movie. Bahut mushkil kamm aa action waala but will work hard for my audience.”

The post by the singer sparked concern among his fans and well-wishers. Several Bollywood celebrities reacted to the post, including Mrunal Thakur, who commented, “Whatttt.” Anupam Kher also reacted to the post offering encouragement, writing, “You are the bestest. Got will soon.” Mika Singh also wished Guru a speedy recovery.

The singer’s much awaited film Shaunki Sardar, wherein he will be starring opposite Nimrat Ahluwalia, is set to release next year. The film promises a touching story of love, loyalty, and cultural pride. The movie is backed by Guru’s production house, 751 Films, and helmed by Dheeraj Rattan.

Few weeks back, Guru had taken a holy dip in the Triveni sangam at the Maha Kumbh. He took to his Instagram, Guru dropped a collage video from Prayagraj in which he could be seen taking a dip in the sangam, enjoying a boat ride, and watching the aarti in the evening.
