Months after announcing their separation, AR Rahman’s estranged wife Saira Rahman has been hospitalized due to a medical emergency, as per the reports.
A statement has been issued on her behalf by Vandana Shah and Associates, which confirms that Saira was hospitalized and had to undergo a surgery. While the statement did not reveal any further details about her illness, it mentioned that she is currently focused on her recovery.
While expressing gratitude towards her numerous well-wishers and supporters, Saira mentioned her friends from Los Angeles, USA, Resul Pookutty and his wife, Shadia. The statement also mentioned Oscar- winning music composer for his “unwavering supporting during this difficult time.”
