Tata Chemicals shares gained 2% after the Indian government imposed a Minimum Import Price (MIP) of ₹20,108 per tonne on Disodium Carbonate (Soda Ash) until June 30, 2024.
The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) issued a notification stating that the current free import policy will resume from July 1, 2025, unless further amendments are made.
Tata Chemicals shares opened at ₹1,034.80 today, reaching a high of ₹1,058.35 and a low of ₹1,030.00. The stock’s 52-week high stands at ₹1,349.00, while the 52-week low is ₹933.00.
As of 1:04 p.m., Tata Chemicals shares were trading 1.40% higher at Rs 1,046.25 on the NSE.
