JTEKT India reported a healthy performance for the quarter ended March 2026, driven by strong growth in revenue and operational improvement.
The company posted a net profit of ₹27.49 crore in Q4 FY26, up 11.5% compared to ₹24.65 crore reported in the corresponding quarter last year.
Revenue from operations rose 20.2% YoY to ₹780.33 crore against ₹649.19 crore in Q4 FY25, reflecting strong demand and improved business momentum.
Total income for the quarter increased 20.4% to ₹784.30 crore from ₹651.40 crore a year ago.
Profit before exceptional items and tax stood at ₹40.91 crore, registering a growth of 21.2% compared to ₹33.76 crore in the year-ago quarter.
However, the company reported an exceptional loss of ₹2.45 crore during the quarter. Despite this, profit before tax came in at ₹38.45 crore, up 13.9% YoY from ₹33.76 crore.
Total tax expense increased to ₹10.96 crore from ₹9.11 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
On the operational front, total expenses climbed 20.4% YoY to ₹743.39 crore compared to ₹617.64 crore, mainly due to higher raw material and employee-related costs.
For the full financial year FY26, JTEKT India reported total income of ₹2,690.48 crore, while net profit after tax stood at ₹76.89 crore.
