Be it the TV serials – Kitani Mohabbat Hai and Kuch Toh Log Kahenge – or the web series – Tandav and Bambai Meri Jaan – audiences as well as critics have never fail to get amazed by Kritika Kamra’s genuine and truthful portrayal. The actress recently came out to reveal that she’s not part of the debate on nepotism in Bollywood industry saying that it is her talent, hard work and self-belief that has helped her to achieve what she has.
On the nepotism controversy, Kritika said in a statement, “I have always believed in letting my work speak for itself. I didn’t get here because of any connections or family ties. Every opportunity I’ve had has been the result of years of hard work and persistence. I don’t think it’s productive to get caught up in the nepotism debate because, in the end, it’s the audience that decides your fate. I’m grateful for the incredible roles that have come my way, and it’s a testament to the fact that you can make it as an outsider in this industry.”
Kritika was recently seen in the ZEE5 web series Gyaarah Gyaarah, wherein she played a cop named Vamika Rawat. The series is an adaptation of show named Signal of South Korea. It has been backed by Karan Johar’s Dharmatic Entertainment and Guneet Monga’s Sikhya Entertainment, Gyaarah Gyaarah stars Akansha Ranjan, Raghav Juyal and Dhairya Karwa as two policemen and the show tries solving murder cases from 1991 to 2016.
