Following the scandals with Nagarjuna and Dhanush, Chiranjeevi’s airport video is going through scrutiny. Pushing aside a fan who tried taking a selfie with him was one of the things that made people take issue with this actor. However, he was met with support from a multitude of fans while netizens were not impressed. There are numerous times where Chiranjeevi along with his wife Surekha are seen stepping off from an airport lift accompanied by ground staff. Shortly thereafter, an IndiGo Airline employee went up to them asking if it would be possible to get a picture but was ignored completely. He didn’t give up though and remained standing on their path until he was ushered away by Chiranjeevi in passing.

On the internet various reactions poured in concerning this move made by Chiranjeevi as some people found it disturbing that he did not stop for the picture while some believed no one had this right. “Chiranjeevi’s rudeness at the airport” said one fan who uploaded the video since its dissemination through various channels was rampant, while another one defended “He persons travelling with him ordered this individual to move out our way; it isn’t good to disturb someone coming off a long flight with his family.”

This is not the first time that the stars have faced backlash for ignoring or, worse still, shoving fans aside at the airport. Just recently, Nagarjuna’s bodyguard was seen on a video clip shoving a physically challenged fan away during the trip; as a result, fans attacked him. He later claimed he never saw anything happen at the terminal and expressed remorse.
