Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor, who is currently busy shooting Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, has left the social media in splits during his latest appearance on Nikhil Kamath’s podcast, people by WTF. Ranbir’s statements, revelations and confessions about his life captured a lot of attention.
The podcast had Ranbir talking about the first time he met Alia and even talked about her soft character. The actor claimed that when he first met Alia years back he was already at age of 20 while she just had nine years old. Additionally, he claimed that Alia changed after their wedding as she used to use high pitch voice while speaking. According to Ranbir, there was something disturbing in his dad’s voice; and then Alia tried to adjust it. He admitted that such change is not so easy especially if one has been using such tones for over three decades. He explained that Alia’s reaction to Raha falling down throws him off.
The actor went ahead explaining that there are certain things made by Alia for him to feel comfortable but, he is not sure if he can say the same about himself.
However, netizens did not take kindly to Ranbir’s statement and instead labelled him as ‘toxic nature’. In no time, Ranbir’s video went viral on social media where netizens reacted in the comments section. One user observed: “Theirs is a corporate set up marriage. And it is very unfortunate that such kind of wedding spelt the sudden deaths in family.” Another wrote: “Did he love her ? like friend???? Is this real life Ae dil hai mushkil?” while someone else remarked: “Did he really say that he respects her like daughter or sister after mentioning they met when she was 9 and he was 20? It sounded soooo wrong.”
