The games are starting sooner than planned for Cobra Kai. The show’s creators revealed that the second part of the sixth and final season will now premiere on November 15, instead of the originally announced November 28. This exciting news came during the premiere of the first part, where creators Jon Hurwitz, Hayden Schlossberg, and Josh Heald made the announcement to fans.

“You heard it here first. Send it to the internet. November 15. Same day as Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson. Netflix Fight Night. No undercard. Two main events. Let’s do it.”

This means November 15 is shaping up to be an action-packed day for Netflix, as it coincides with the Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson fight. Originally scheduled for July 20, the fight was rescheduled to November 15 and will be live-streamed from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, marking Netflix’s first live-streamed boxing event.

What To Expect in ‘Cobra Kai’ Season 6, Part 2

When the second part drops, Miyagi-Do will be facing major challenges, especially after the cliffhangers of the first part. There’s a lot at stake for the members, including their self-esteem, finances, and educational opportunities. The tournament will solidify their status as top martial artists, but new, formidable competitors will make this no easy task. William Zabka hinted at the intense competition Miyagi-Do will face from Kreese’s Korean students, describing them as:

“It’s the best of the valley meets the best of the world. And these are like world-class thirteen-time champion martial artists that came to play. They’re that good.”

Cobra Kai stars William Zabka as Johnny Lawrence, Ralph Macchio as Daniel LaRusso, Xolo Maridueña as Miguel Diaz, Tanner Buchanan as Robby Keene, Jacob Bertrand as Eli Moskowitz, Peyton List as Tory Nichols, Mary Mouser as Samantha LaRusso, Courtney Henggeler as Amanda LaRusso, Martin Kove as John Kreese, Gianni DeCenzo as Demetri, and Dallas Dupree Young as Kenny Payne.

Mark your calendars for November 15 for the second part of Cobra Kai Season 6, with the final part expected sometime in 2025. The first part is available now on Netflix.
