On 6th September, Jon Prosser (tech-analyst) posted a tweet where he claimed that Apple is going to launch its new press release regarding its new products on Tuesday. Prosser had also speculated that Apple was set to launch its new watch on the 7th of September.
Apple press release is currently scheduled for Tuesday (September 8) at 9:00am EST — though, I should note that it’s not locked in until the press has been briefed, day of.

On 7th September, Mark Gurman refuted claims regarding the rumoured launch via his tweet.
I wouldn’t get too excited about rumors of new Apple products appearing this week. More likely I think: an announcement of the upcoming (of course virtual) September iPhone/Apple Watch event.

The launch of these products, Apple iPhone 12 series(iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, and the iPhone 12 Pro Max), Apple Watch and new iPad Models, will likely happen on a virtual event.
