Shah Rukh Khan starrer Dunki has been released and it is receiving positive reviews from the audience. The film marks the first-ever collaboration of director Rajkumar Hirani and Shah Rukh. Dunki attained Rs 30 crore on its first day of release and recorded the 7th biggest opening of the year.
A special screening of the movie was organized in Mumbai. It was attained by many known stars and celebrities. Mona Singh was also one of the attendees and expressed her thoughts regarding the movie on her social media. Taking to her Instagram account, she appreciated Dunki and how it made her feel.
Mona posted a few snaps and captioned the post by writing, “Dunki ❤ a roller coaster ride of emotions, love, laughter, patriotism, friendship. In one of the pictures posted by Singh, she was seen sharing smiles with Rajkumar Hirani’s wife Hirand. While one picture was of the movie poster while another image was of the souvenir, which had, “Dunki #Raju Ki Proud Family” written over it.
During an event in Dubai, Shah Rukh Khan expressed how Dunki is his film. As Jawan was a film made for boys and girls. Dunki is something that he made for himself and is very close to his heart. He started the year with Pathaan, which was always ladies first and is ending the year on a good note. He urged people to watch as they will find something in the film very special and the movie will also make them laugh.
Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the film is co-written by Hirani, Abhijat Joshi and Kanika Dhillon. It stars SRK, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal and Boman Irani in key roles. The film revolves around the theme of illegal migration and how a group of friends strive harder to find a homeland on a foreign soil.
